Going to El Salvador

Parting joy and tears,
After a night and a day,
She will breathe new air.

Took Tash up to Heathrow to be ready for her flight to El Salvador in the morning.  After a flurry of preparation the time was here at last.  

The hardest part of being a parent is being able to let go... of course I'll worry and I'll miss her ... but at at the same time I am so excited for her ... it will (I hope) be a wonderful experience.  She will be working with a charity in a remote village for 3 months.

This picture was taken on the drive home ... I de-focussed it  because that's kind of how I felt .....

Thanks for all the lovely comments on my Silver wedding photograph the other day ... I will get round to replying ... going away for a long  weekend tomorrow (Friday), so been frantically working to finish stuff before I go  ...
