Lilac

Today started out dull but this afternoon is much better. I went out looking again for young green flowers on trees but the shots I got were worthless. I will try again. Those on the black walnuts are quite different from anything else I have seen. So here is a bit of lilac in the garden. The lilacs here do not have anything like the scent I remember in England. I don't know why. In Silverdale there was a beauty on the way up to the Pepperpot that you could smell quarter of a mile away. Nothing like that here.
