Is This The Way To Amaryllis?

While paying my Thursday visit to Mum, she told me of her neighbours' lovely plant.

So, now that I have become a flower snapper, I nipped next door to capture the magnificent bloom in all its glory. 

The sun has shone for much of the day and we are getting another hint of what is to come.

Unfortunately, after the weekend, we are promised some more thunderstorms.
