St Lawrence's Church, Warborough.
On the way home today had a brief stop in the village of Warborough. I had a look in the church which was very busy as they are in the process of restoring an organ which will eventually replace their existing one. One of the people there was keen to show me around and here are two of the highlights. The unusual lectern features a pelican feeding her young. The other image is of a stained glass window which was commissioned in memory of a church warden who died as a result of the hurricane in 1987. It depicts the parable of the good samaritan and at the bottom has a picture of the wardens house, featuring a post box as he was the village post master too. Whilst not so common to see a modern stained glass window it is beautifully done.
