Beautiful day today. Sun shining, early clouds evaporating, wind dropping, temperature rising. Must be because R&L have gone home!!..

Been planting my onions and shallots today. 24 trays of 15 pots, that's about 360 altogether. I normally plant my onion sets in pots in the tunnel. These were planted in early March, and have developed nicely. Means my plants are already established, complete with a good root system. It's only now that the ground is dry and warm enough to plant them. Ground raked to level it first, and then troweled in. Did half of them before G came to help, and then got on a lot quicker. Took Tanni on the beach after for a swim..

Going to be busy over the next few days as the forecast is really good. No rain for a week or so.. Might get my tatties in soon too..
