Fixers

A few weeks ago Ruth put a suggestion for a project to Fixers.  Her idea was to raise awareness of Joint Hypermobility which she and Amy suffer from.  Her idea was very well received, quickly leading to face-to-face contact with Marie from Fixers.  In the long term Ruth will be involved in the making of a short animated educational film.  Today's big event was the making of a 3 minute piece to be broadcast on regional news programmes.  Here she is being filmed making jewellery, one of her hobbies.

The film crew  were quite affected by Ruth's story, "life must be very hard for you" was the director's comment to Jacinta .... all too true.  It was a fun day though, filming at the Hospital after Ruth's two routine appointments, filming on a bus hired specially for Ruth and much filming at home.
