Blue Blooms, with Bonus Bees
I was delighted on this day to spot several of the first bees I've seen this spring. In this photo, two busy little bees are harvesting pollen from blue flowers near the gates of the children's garden at the Arboretum. The bees are capturing the golden pollen in the pockets of their knickers, with plans to transport it to their nest or hive.
The song: Paul Mauriat, Love Is Blue.
