The Long Wall

C wanted to go up town this am, so I had a look at the demolition works from the other side of the road & climbing the various Fire Escapes to get alternative shots. Thanks to fellow blipper Chantler63 for the tip. 

I took about 50 odd shots then got a phone call from C to say she was ready. I told her where I was and she came to meet me. She is pictured here.

The old wall is several hundred years old and borders the demolition area. It is Grade II listed & when all the alterations are complete it will become part of Waterside North, which will comprise of shops & cafes. Adjacent is an open air car park which will be developed, but previously it was the Civic Centre, Reg Maxwell Swimming Pool & a Multi-Storey car park.
