I helped out in Alex's class today and was rewarded with a big bouquet of my favorite Spring-time flowers after recess.  I can't believe I used to see these flowers as a weed.  I love his big heart.  It was an extra exciting day for Alex (and mommy) as he found out his art submission (see previous Blip) had won the school contest and will be the design on the cover of his elementary school's yearbook!  Not bad for a Kindergartner!  He now might have to add "Artist" to his already growing list of future professions: Spy, Scientist and Rock Star are currently his number one choices.
