Gnome Hunting

Apparently there are over 300 gnome statues in Wraclow.

I think I have found about 15, so far!!!!

According to my fountain of knowledge, they started as a protest against graffiti in the '80s when the ruling regime would come and cover up any street art, so one man kept painting gnomes to make fun of the regime.

When the Wall fell, and everything changed he had a proper one made, and then 5 more were commissioned.

Then the local businesses got in on the act and now there are hundreds, all doing different hints around the city!
