Maimai

I think this maimai is a unique NZ word for this duckshooting hide. And duck fever is warming up with the duck shooting season starting at the beginning of May.

I was out on a farm this afternoon doing a shoot, and the men of the family have readied this maimai on the lake at the back of the property. thought it was pretty impressive, not that I have ever been in a maimai, nor ever intend to!!!
