The Book Cliffs
Today we headed out to the book cliffs to look at prograding shallow marine deposits. We first headed out to a look out point over the village of Helper, where we could see the book cliffs rising into the distance. It was freezing cold and even started snowing as we headed up a canyon which walked us through a whole marine section. We ended our day at my first ever Taco Bell, which was surprisingly tasty and just what we needed after a long, cold day in the field.
