Penni

This is my friend Penni, also known as Sarah (long story....). She has featured in this blog before during my first 365 project and now she has come to visit me for a few days during her Easter holidays and will feature in the next few blips!

I've definitely got a "first day in Basel" routine in place having had a couple of visitors now. Scenic bus/tram route from the airport, lunch at the cathedral, wander the cathedral, old town and then head to the triple border point.

Here we are at the top of the cathedral looking over the Rhine. This is the second time I've climbed the tower. You're not allowed to go up alone (jump risk) and it was certainly a lovely day for it.

Penni and I know each other from many things including music stuff so we also went to Basel's music museum which is housed in a refurbished prison! Each cell is dedicated to a particular type of music and/or instrument. Very cool.
