What larks!

A bright and breezy day, with a high tide at noon, there was only one place I was going to go, really.
Plenty of skylarks, a few shelduck, hunners of oystercatchers and redshanks, teal, stockdoves, reed buntings and chiff-chaffs.

I can't bear to listen to the radio at the moment. If I hear one more person say, "We've made this very clear..." followed by a load of obfuscating waffle, I shall scream!
Same goes for "hard-working families" and "Unlike all the other parties"
