A college friend has been holidaying in Edinburgh so Mother Flump and the boys took her off to see Concorde. They picked me up from work and we all went for dinner in town. B is still as enthusiastic about history as ever. Tonight's nuggets were that the Unicorn is the Scottish animal on the coat of arms and the legal union of Wales and England wasn't until the reign of Henry VIII (I think). Fun seeing old friends.
