Looking up to Peak Hill

I went on a 12 mile walk today with our local walking group.  It was one of the hottest days today and we ventured up and down several hills including reaching the highest point on High Peak.  This was a big achievement for a lot of us as you feel you have reached the top a bit lower down.  The last bit is a 1 in 3 climb to the top where you are perched overlooking the sea.  We then continued inland where I spotted this view of two horses at the top of Peak Hill.

The walk then headed over areas of open heathland, down narrow country footpaths and along the river Otter, a great varied walk.  Time to put my feet up now.
