More art

Another gorgeous day...San Zacharia church with real (twice a day very wet) crypt full of Doges' bones. Scuola of the Dalmatians with the great Carpaccio St George and the dragon saga. And then a blitz of the Palazzo Ducale ( too many people) to see the worlds biggest oil painting (paradise) by Tintoretto, before heading home to our quieter neighborhood campo for lunch ( we found a toasted cheese sandwich for T!) and a NAP before a late afternoon visit to the Salute church and Peggy Guggenheims place for some more recent art than 500 years. Hoped to find a gondola ride tonight but didn't manage it -(did find great Greek food!) so instead you get the view of the grand canal from hanging out a bit at Peggy's place with the Calder. If you look closely I believe you can see both Aqua shoes and phone!). 2 more full days -we will look better for the gondola tomorrow...........
