Grape vine (three weeks and one day)

The morning dog walk caused a fair bit of hilarity today. When we returned to the car park at the end of the walk there was another car there, the owner engrossed in sorting stuff out in the boot of his car. Taliscularis the big took the decision to jump into the boot and have a look to see if there was a sandwich or something else to eat in there. The car's owner was suitably bemused but seemed to find it very funny.
The nearly wife trundled off to work the first of her two shifts today while I loaded up some tools and headed for Stromness where I checked a boiler, repaired a tap, called in to see my folks and then went to fix a float valve. Home for lunch and then an immersion heater change in one of the holiday cottages next door.
Back home again and after a surprise visit from a friend, I gave the lawn the first cut of the year whilst wondering what to blip.
I haven't been in the greenhouse for a while and it is nice to see some leaves coming on our grape vine.
It has been a good day today.
