Wave dodging...

I spent a lovely few hours in the warm sunshine at the beach this afternoon. I sat on a rock & thoroughly enjoyed watching these turnstones. They didn't mind me sitting there, in fact they took no notice at all and carried on about their business of feeding, chatting, squabbling and dodging the waves. They were actually very funny and reminded me of how we humans shriek when we put our feet into the cold sea and run away...it was the same :)
