Snail's pace

Today we have Thunder, Lightning and Rain.   It is certainly miserable and as I type, the Thunder still rumbles on.

Good news for the slugs and snails though.   I saw this little chap on the path nearby as Holly and I dodged the rain.   I don't know if it is a snail or slug.   I do see lots of these cone shaped shells discarded in the gardens.

I did not call and see Pedro today regarding the construction on the beach but picked up a local Spanish paper and it appears that they are building a breakwater to stop the erosion of the beach.   It will be about 100 metres long and it is being built on the beach!   Time will tell what it ends up like.
