Brecon

This is the RIver Usk at Brecon.  We stopped here for morning coffee, and a look around, en route to Fishguard  where we are staying with our friends John and Jennie for a couple of nights at the Fishguard Bay Hotel. John kindly agreed to do the driving so we could enjoy the scenery. Later we stopped for a sandwich before arriving at about 5pm.

Brecon is where I spent a few years way back when I worked for the Welsh Water Authority. We lived in a small village outside Brecon called Pontfaen in Yr Hen Ysgol, The Old School, John was good enough to drive out that way so I could take a nostalgia trip. The place is still there, though have added an extension and a hideous double garage.

WiFi is a little iffy here at the hotel, hence only just being able to load :/
