So long, farewell. . .

Yesterday's lack of broadband meant I couldn't Blip. I really must work out how to download the mobile phone app!

Anyhow - On Saturday I will be going to a dance event where I will be selling (or trying to sell!) most of my performance wardrobe. I am never going to wear them again and they deserve to be danced in rather than languishing in my wardrobe. This is one of the tops, which shows just how amazingly beautiful the beading is on couture level costumes. I'm sad to see them go as they represent lots of happy memories but they need new homes.

Yesterday we also said farewell to Jack. His owner is moving to another part of town today and wanted to keep him indoors so that he didn't run off when the basket came out. :) She left us a contact number just in case he turns up here as he obviously liked us so much. She told us that it wouldn't be the first time because he's such a character and has made friends with neighbours on several occasions! :) We will miss him but my campaign for one of our own is building momentum! ;D

Today is my birthday and we are having a big family get together to celebrate. It should have also been a celebration of the first anniversary of my finishing active treatment but won't be now because I have an urgent referral back to the hospital to investigate a potential new cancer. We will have a lovely time tonight but tomorrow I will need to tell everyone what's happening.

I'll try and Blip whilst I'm away but if I can't I promise to back-Blip everything!
