Kamloops to Langley

A trip to the coast
for a visit or two and
testing the new car

We were up and out the door by 9. Stopped at the office. Topped off the gas tank and were out on the Trans-Canada Highway heading south. Our first stop was overlooking Kamloops Lake. We took note of the snow on the mountain tops. It all seems a little late in the spring for that. The sunshine of Kamloops soon gave way to scattered showers and some clouds. Traffic was light and the new car is a breeze to drive. We were in and out of the tunnels in the Fraser Canyon and soon found lunch in Hope. The snowline is not far away. Down on the flats of the Fraser Valley, we could still see snow on the near mountains behind Chilliwack, We were into Langley and checked in before 4 PM. The plans are to meet my brother for dinner at 6 PM.
