Back to the Earth

We lost a tiny member of our family. Harry the Hamster lived a long and very active life, but alas went over the tiny rainbow bridge yesterday.
He was Joe's pet, and so today, we had a little ceremony and returned him to the ground, with a few words and a last stroke goodbye.
It didn't feel right to encroach upon Joe's moment then, but later I saw this fossil that he keeps, and thought it might be a nice representation of life gone, and life remembered.
