Eeeek...

...half past 6 in the pm and no blip. 

After a day of even more house stuff, we popped to the shops to buy dinner, check out some lino and peruse the paint colours. 
Voicing my concern re lack of blip material, Elise suggested we pop into the pet shop after M&S...what a girl, saved my blip bacon.  So here we have a quick phone photo of a cute little hamster.  Only problem is..she wants a hamster now, so do I :-)

The shower is good to go after the last of the sealant went on today, the alcove painting in the bedroom looks great. We've ripped a bit of wallpaper off in the bedroom, mostly we'll just paint over what's there but this section had bits missing.  This time...5 layers of wallpaper, the last one, next to the plaster, I think is possibly Victorian, it had a painted design, very plain.  The wall underneath is remarkably in great shape, I filled two little nail holes and now it's ready to repaper.  Amazing to think it's 125 years old and still good!
