Community Garden

Had a walk down to the new Community Garden. Braehead Community Garden will open in April 2015 in a section of the green space between Broom Road and the railway line. There will be 100 raised beds for growing vegetables. There will also be, tool sheds, polytunnels, woodland walks and social areas. Throughout the year there will be organised events – from plant sales to growing lessons, Local people can apply for one of the raised beds and for £64 will be provided with all seeds and tools required. £12 gives you a social membership with access to the gardens and to all events and training sessions.. Looking forward to seeing how it progresses.
