Love where you live
There was a hashtag #lovewhereyoulive going around the Internet a while ago, and today's walk with Peppa reminded me of just that. How blessed we are to live somewhere where there is grass and trees and wildlife in abundance, and even better the sun was shining on it today! Miss Peppa had a lovely run around, chased some ducks and did a lot of sniffing smells. And we did all that to the sound of the church bells ringing (it must have been a practise as they were ringing for over an hour!)
The mini pinks have gone back to school today, but despite them not being there, the day has flown past. I think my days are shrinking!!
They had a good first days back, new term, new topic, new tables to sit at, new talk partners, and some new systems in place. I hope they have a brilliant summer term.
We had macaroni peas for tea. I'm telling you this because Master Pink chose it from the River Cottage veg book, and then ate it all. I'm impressed. Miss Pink was less enthusiastic about the kermit coloured pasta.
Work tomorrow, so I am revising! Good night.
