Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay!

My, oh my, what a wonderful day
Plenty of sunshine headin' my way
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay!!


Walking back from Book Group this morning, the world seemed to have been brought to life by the wonderful Spring weather. The birds were singing, the bees were buzzing, and the butterflies were fluttering. Even this little Stinging Nettle was singing and dancing in the sunshine!

I can't say I've ever really looked closely at Nettle flowers before, but they really are beautiful, in their own special hairy, prickly kind of way!!
