Sheltered

My first day back on campus after my Easter break and a quick tour revealed that the butterflies had re-emerged in my absence. Three Small Tortoiseshells were in the same spot that I've noted the first campus butterflies in the last two years: a sheltered dry drainage ditch that allows them to keep out of the wind.
