House on Stilts

The weather continues to be 'perfect' and I'm just thrilled that the CBLs can enjoy their last two days here in HK without having to worry about rain.

We headed to Ngong Ping 360 to catch a cable car to the Big Buddha. The queues were incredibly long so we went up by bus which was much more fun. We enjoyed fabulous views from the top and enjoyed the cool breeze and atmosphere. Talked a lot about our previous trip there last year with Ellisroger and his wife. Good to relive some memories.  

We then headed to the fishing village called Tai O which is west of Lantau. It was a lovely day to be there and we took a small boat ride along the stilted housing. It's so different here than anywhere in Hong Kong and always humbling to see how some people live.  We enjoyed a cold beer on the water where I got this pic of the nicest looking house there!

Really enjoyed my time with the CBLs and am already sad they'll be leaving tomorrow :(
