Fingal's Cave

Holiday highlight today as we took a Staffa tour. The boat took us along the coast of Mull and we were dropped off on Lunga, a small island inhabited only by birds and rabbits. We spent our two hours on the island walking the circumference before walking to the highest point for our lunch spot with stunning views. Back on the boat and we saw some curious seals as we headed a few miles to Staffa. We were only given 35 minutes on this island as the tide was making it difficult for the boat to dock, so we headed straight to Fingal's cave, one of the most stunning pieces of natural architecture I've ever seen. We spent most of our time on the island just admiring the cave and taking it all in, so didn't get much of a look around the top.
Getting a bit concerned we hadn't seen any puffins, we were quite relieved to see  some sitting in the water when we did a lap of the island.
Really enjoyed being out on the water, but no sight of Dolphins or porpoises which I was most keen to see. Will have to do more sailing this summer!
