Tiny sugar ants....

.... this is a tiny cropped section of the original photo - the strip down the middle is the grout between two wall tiles in my laundry. i wondered what this little black blob was but when I took a microscope to see what it was, I saw these eight ants attacking a tiny spider! The whole conglomeration must have been about half a centimetre in diameter. I need a macro lens now!
