A lamentation of swans

Really, that's what you call a group of swans.  Actually there are quite a few names for them.   I wanted to call it a shiver of swans as I'm always a little bit afraid of them as much as I'm in awe of them.  There are some grumpy swans out there!  This lamentation followed us around for most of our walk.
