Rocket Rod

I can't be sure whether this was actually Rocket Rod or not as I missed the surf report this morning.  I saw about six surfers out off Nobbys riding the big ones this morning.  It really was for experienced surfers only.   This chap would have caught the wave about 1 kilometre off the beach for sure and rode it most of the way in.  The waves were huge at the start and seem to be a bit smaller here where I have caught him.  He really seemed to be having the ride of his life and it was a joy to watch.
