Ice on Sage

We had about 5 cms of snow last night, but by morning it was hard, crunchy ice. I had planned to go to Christchurch, but there was no way I could get the ice from my car until late afternoon. Instead, I wandered around the garden taking photos of ice on things. Concrete paths were treacherous so I kept to the grass. There would have been lovely landscape shots, but I couldn’t go far on foot. I have put a couple here along with one of my path.

Later I worked in the greenhouse, beginning to clear the tomatoes and twitch. That was hot work in the sunshine, regardless of the ice all round.
