Juvenile Little Grebe

This little Grebe is a juvenile in transition, he has his mothers eyes, but not his parents auburn & black feathers. He certainly knows how to fish and is a master of the art of diving and looking more like a fish under water, than a bird! I love the variations of eyes and this bird has some incredible ones, obviously they allow him to see extremely well under water even in really bright conditions.
