Coots and a bit of rain

We went to the lake today to measure the shed to see if the lawn tractor will fit in there. I'm so spoiled- I want to ride mow not push mow. Anyway, this is the view from inside the shed! Ha! No sense standing in the rain.

The Coots stop here on their travels in Spring and Fall. It seems like they're very late this year. It's hilarious to see them take off- they get a long running start on the top of the water, splashing and honking the whole way. If you squint, you can see them down past the Ladies' house.
