Salisbury Three.
This plaque is on the wall in The Close by Salisbury Cathedral. The three, a farmer, tailor and stonemason, were sentenced by the Bishop of Salisbury. He was keen to express his support for Mary, who had got hitched up with Philip of Spain. She had supported him in getting out of being Bishop of North Wales, because he could not speak or understand the Welsh language. The three lads refused to recognise Rome, so in those times that was it.
