The Water of Leith
I'd been putting off venturing up the Water of Leith at lunchtimes because I wasn't sure how far I'd get but it was MonoMonday and the theme was "water" so there was no point in ignoring it. I had covered about a mile of it over a few lunches before however could not think of any bit to blip, so ventured the other side of Stockbridge.
It's been some time since we last did walked it, I seem to remember zooming down then up on a bike, but either I forgot, or I didn't notice while travelling at speed exactly the full scale of it. It's amazing how you can live and work in Edinburgh and not really be aware of it.
I was shocked to get from Canonmills to the Dean Bridge in 20 minutes and actually thought I was somewhere else. I was even more shocked having decided to turn back to meet Ms H and Mrs P (her granny) cycling down, I hadn't been aware of their planned trip! Whasachancesothathappenin?
Thanks to notowennewitt for hosting this week's challenge.
