At Last

Finally, the azalea is in full bloom - a week later than last year, I note from my blips!
After a week of sunshine the full Scottish weather returned - hail yesterday, ice on the car this morning. And to prove it, we rescued a cyclist with hyperthermia. She was standing shivering outside our house having cycled for a couple of hours and then got too cold and ran out of energy. We brought her in for a cup of tea whilst waiting for her husband to come and collect her. So, don't put the thermals away yet!
Collected the teenager on his return from his ski trip. Lovely to see him home and happy. Introduced myself to fellow blipper Sparcerunner, collecting his daughter from the same trip.

Ended the day with news of the loss of a young man I had met briefly earlier this year. Too sad.
