No Rest For The Wicked.
After breakfast with the rugrats it was out to get some essentials so SWMBO and I had something to eat at lunchtime.
Then (after dropping off the shopping at home and SWMBO scanning it all again - twice .... she gets paid fir that be a couple of survey companies) it was taking PD out for a walk.
He was out for a long walk and was making his own mind up about where he was going (round the woods twice for a starter).
The Cygnet had asked how he was meant to find tree roots in a scavenger hunt ........ So I showed him.
After lunch I headed off to the timber merchant with The Cygnet - a great adventure as far as he was concerned (simple things and all that).
We then went down to The Ferry so he could take pictures of the bridge for a photo competition (he took some good shots).
Before going and throwing potatoes stones in the sea (until the rain started) we had a look at the Crammond Island Taxi - better known as the RNLI Lifeboat which was sitting outside its building. I am not sure The Cygnet understood the concept of the crews bravery but at least the seed has been sown.
On the way out of town we stopped at Dalmeny Station where a certain somebody was over the moon that the train driver waved back to him and then blew the horn for his as he left the station.
Then it was home to a dog going nuts to go out for another walk!!
I think it could take a few days to warm up.
