The Buffalo

The Buffalo - De Buffel in Dutch - is an armour plated marine vessel built by Napier & Sons in Glasgow Scotland in 1868.

I know this boat from the many years that it was moared in the center of Rotterdam, but on 5 october 2013 it was towed to Hellevoetsluis where I shot it now.

Research taught me that it had already layed in Hellevoetsluis earlier in its history, to be precise from 1896/1920 as marine hospital ship.

ps. Tiebreaker shot it in Rotterdam on january 3rd 2013 just prior to its permanent leave from Rotterdam.

As my computer has been sent to Apple because the technicians can't repair it I cannot do my normal signature style post production regretably.
