Barbaro

This morning we were tourists so we visited Churchill Downs, home to the Kentucky Derby.  This is a shot of the statue of Barbaro that sits upon the grave of the famous horse.

According to the Wiki, "The Barbaro Sculpture, created by Alexa King, was unveiled April 26, 2009 at Churchill Downs, the week preceding the Kentucky Derby.  Churchill Downs was a pretty cool place.  I wish we'd have had a little more time to do some of the extra tours but, after all, we're here for volleyball.

The volleyball went fairly well today.  The girls won 2 of 4 and play again tomorrow afternoon.
