Morning stillness, Harris and Lewis

We drove from Stornoway in Lewis to our new base on Harris early on this Sunday morning. It had snowed during the night - this is May, for goodness sake - but the morning was cold, clear and still and we had some beautiful views on the drive across the island. You can see peat cuttings in the foreground with a smattering of snow collected in them.
