Debris

There are always lobster creels being washed up along the shore here, often with great long trailing lengths of rope attached, which get caught round seals, sea birds and boat propellers.

Ollie and I found this one at the bottom of the cliffs this afternoon, together with a very battered big blue wheelie bin!  I think that's the biggest thing I've found!  It is minus its lid and it's in a poor state but it was just bobbing about at the bottom of the rocks!  There was no way I could get it up the cliff, so I wedged it in amongst some big stones where it hopefully won't get swept back out to sea again.

I did manage to untangle a good long length of rope and carry it home, it might find a boaty use but it's a bit tatty and frayed so will probably end up decorating a bit of garden!
