An extra day of holiday today so went for another fishing session and wander down on the canal. The fishing was arse but the lovely residents of the lock-keeper's cottage at Saul Junction were as wondrous as ever.

This individual was forced to take evasive action by the curious but purely harmless collie that lives with the lock-keeper.

Went up to the allotment. Blimey! Five days I was gone and it looks like the bloody Amazon basin. Some hard yakka in the next few days methinks.
