Tong Saltings

I seem to have seen a lot of sand this year. This sand flat is in a lagoon-like inlet called Tong Saltings just to the north of Stornoway in Lewis. Jon and I sampled a grid of stations across the whole area in biting cold northerly winds, hail storms and sun.
