Kulich Cake

Ann created this to celebrate Orthodox Easter with the York congregation.  (I don't go).  It's a traditional Russian recipe eaten with Pascha which is a cream, cream cheese, butter (all the things that are not eaten during lent).  I tried a little on on Sunday morning and I think the bread/cake was the best so far.  All those rich golden eggs from Merv's hens had to help!

Mum's first visit from the chiropodist
My brother visited for lunch and to take mum out - unfortunately she was very tired and they were back within half an hour.  I'm sure all the trips to Leeds at the end of the week had taken their toll.
