Winter Is Coming. Apparently....
"Snow to 400m in Canterbury" is what the forecast said, but by early afternoon the white stuff seemed to be confined to the far mountains, rather than the lower foothills around where we live.
Thinking that the window to get a landscape blip might be limited, I decided to drive a little up the gorge once more to see what happening.
Here's the view north from the Waikari Hills on the Rangitata Gorge Road, towards the Pudding Valley between the Harper and Moorhouse Ranges.
