Secret Path

This narrow path nearly escaped my notice as I walked past it on the way to a restaurant. At the time, it was inaccessible, guarded by a locked metal gate. When I passed by it on the way back from the restaurant, the gate was open. How mysterious, I thought. It brought to mind the secret pathways in stories and movies that lead protagonists to new adventures! I really wanted to go in and have a peek, but I doubted the safety of the neighborhood, so I didn't.

There was also a person who was ardently playing an accordion. Coupled with the brick roads, elegant lamp posts, and old-style architecture, it felt as if I were walking through the streets of Paris!
